Humidity timers-what works?
    #2587500 - 04/21/04 03:53 PM (19 years, 11 months ago)

I'm working with cakes, with a terrarium, ultrasonic humidifier (3 pop bottle setup)and a heavy duty timer. 2 questions: I know to see what works, but does running the humidifier for 3 hours twice a day (12 hours apart)seem realistic? The terrarium insultates humidity very well, so as long as humidity doesn't drop below 90% I'm alright, correct? Secondly, how big should the hole be at the bottom of the terrarium. Mine is b/w 1/8" and 1/4". I know they say, just big enough so it doesn't get clogged, but that's kinda generic. Thanks everybody.

yeah, it's a timer issue. I actually went to ace hardware adn they only have enough pins with their timer so it can be set to start adn stop a total of twice a day. I guess I need to get a new timer huh? Walmart didn't help either, any suggestions?
