What is that sound?
    #2529576 - 04/05/04 09:37 PM (19 years, 11 months ago)

I took 3-4 hits of really potent blotter a couple nights ago. And around the 8 hour mark I was over come with an extreamly sharp pain in my jaw, and a high pitched squeeling/ringing sound. I'm pretty sure the sharp pain was because my jaw cramped. But I still have no idea what that sound was. As the sound got louder and louder, I experienced ego-death. The pain also got stronger and stronger, and eventually I just gave in. I went into the pian and I didn't feel anything for a while. As the pain fluctuated, so did the sound.

My question is, what was that sound. I've heard other people say they experience the sound right before ego-death on high doses. But why was the pain and sound connected? Could someone explain that, or give me a theory?

Thanks

I've never experience ego death, so I don't really know. I'm guessing it was just an auditory hallucination though.....I always hear crazy shit when I'm on drugs.

did it sound like a woobling sound? almost like you couldn't tell if you were listening to super distored highway sounds?

i heard that once, and in the past month i realised it was the sound pattern (but not pitch? frequency?) a canary makes.

im gonna rave on a bit so dont mind me,

about that sound,
i beleive that acid stimulates the essence of humans
to channel into frequencies better, no not the fm radio
but the frequency of a spiritual plane. Hallucinations
are in fact being perceived by the third eye, i also
remind you that the third eye is the point ant which the
spirit dwells. Now the sound is produced when the body is
relaxed and the immortal being (spirit) must be free from the burden of the mortal being (body) to go to planes of vast energy and be revitalised of health. Your essence is a manifestation of high energy
and intercepts with you audio sensors.
Matter is just a vibration ( in other words an illusion ) and the only things you are sure of are your emotions.
Everything that exists is a product of love for what do we use to create our selves? hate or love?
anyway the spirit being a high energy manifestation is a high energy in every sense. Acid opens us up to sensing the higher energy leaving us feeling like everything is amplified. That sound was the sound of pure energy i beleive and you are just sensing pure energy because you were in control of your spirit and body so you could still see, hear but your spirit was 'awakened' and the spirit moves at the speed of light
being able to return to its source god to re-establishing it self with + energy. .... remember beleive this only if you want to , its an option and im not forcing my beleifs onto you.

I've had these "cosmic" sounds and pains on 5.5grams. Probably 30 minutes after I had ate the mushrooms the noise started and kept progressing for about 45 minutes, at which point I got a sharp pain in my face. I stumbled accross the room holding my face so it wouldnt fall off, I honestly thought that my face was going to fall off hehe. After a few minutes I took my hands off my face and I had the weirdest sensation of my face falling off and of something pouring out of my head. I felt this pouring sensation for about 30 seconds until all of a sudden my entire field of vision consisted of space and shapes of matter twisting and distorting flowing around me. It was at this point that I experienced ego death and where things get fuzzy.

After this trip I had some interesting thoughts about a universe being contained in my head, and that I finally released it. This was a really religious experience for me and just attempting to put it in words makes me feel silly.

I have had crazy auditory stuff very high on mushrooms. The craziest static ever. Sounded like 1000 different industrial machines at once. Kind of like the nitrous sounds. People who where taking sounded like they had this robotic filter on.
