Hypothetical - Seeding neighbors raised gardens covered in wood mulch
    #25107506 - 04/01/18 10:15 PM (5 years, 11 months ago)

A few of my neighbors have raised gardens along the sidewalk that would probably be a great spot for wood shrooms.

Would the mycelium mess with the garden?

My not very educated guess is this is very common in nature and wouldn't hurt the gardens at all.

It wouldn't hurt the gardens,  it it would be hard to get it to take off in full sunlight(raised beds right?).

Also harvesting would be difficult if you did manage to get them growing. (Unless the beds are well hidden from view.)

Cubes inside, in a monotub, is the best way to produce large amounts of mushrooms IMO
