My alba plant is looking a bit rough;

My P. Alba plant has been looking a bit haggard as of late. It’s still putting on new growth but it’s doing so incredibly slow. You can see the leaves browning as well. I cannot see anything to indicate an infestation of any sort. It may have gotten too much sun about a month and a half ago. Now it’s in partial sun being grown as a house plant near a window. Plant right next to it is doing fine with no issues.

Are you really sure about it beeing bug free? Take a loupe and study the leafs and growth tips. My plants did look the same and it turned out to be bugs.

Well I wouldn’t stake my life on it. But I’ve looked pretty closely. I don’t have any type of magnifier but I’ll try to figure something out to check.

Looks like a bit of sunburn to me, no worries the new growth should be normal if it has returned to a less sunny location.

I think it's also sunburn. You can see it on the older leaves, new ones coming through look ok. Just check the undersides of the new leaves. They look a little crinkled, which can be an indicator of sucking pests like aphids, for example.

So I got myself a loupe so I could inspect a bit better. I don’t see any kind of pests anywhere on the plant. I’ve also noticed that the new growth isn’t coming in normal as I had thought originally. Can any kind of root damage or the like cause this? I’m worried that maybe there is something going on beneath the surface. I’d really like to avoid repotting the plant if possible as I’ve had pretty rough luck as of late with transplants (post to come soon). If that’s what I need to do though then I will of course.
Here are more pictures of the plant in question. You’ll have to forgive my feeble attempt at macro photography. The plants moving around didn’t help either.
And this is the plant that is only a few feet away.

It dont have the same bugs i had on mine. I dont see any bugs but im no bug expert. There are some white small things but it can be natural for this plant.
When there is something wrong with a plant and no visible cause can be seen i think there can be reason to suspect the roots or soil. I personally dont think this is because of sunburn. I have same black, dry tips on some leafs on one of my caapi plants and that one is defenitly not sunburn. Do you have same soil in both this plant and the healthy one? I guess something with the soil/roots. Maybe it lacks something or has too much of something in the soil.

Not sure at all but it could be a fungal parasite, maybe try a systemic fungicide (if you don't plan to brew any of it).
edit: lovely doggo, seems worried about the plants too
