Sunlight better?

Is sunlight better than artificial. My friend recently moved a small terrarium in front of a window and noticed that his shrooms had started to look better than if they were under artificial. Does natural sunlight increace groth rate/ potency/ size/ anything?

Nope, probably a coincidence or different variables. Direct sunlight is supposedly detrimental(sp?) actually.
