linear type faster than rhizomorphic ?????
    #2486967 - 03/31/04 12:05 PM (20 years, 21 days ago)

Hello so my question is about this mushroom (cubensis mexican type) cloned on agar : in one petri there is what looks like rhizomorphic mycelium but it has grown slower than another petri dish that looks more like intermediary linear type. Did this happen to anyone ? Which one to reproduce ? thanks for all tips

Sorry cant help to much, for me its quite linear
to slightly rhizomorphic (very thin cotton like rhizos amoung
linear mycelium) quite uniformly. I havent really seen true
rhizomorphic mycelium from my culture.

My advise is to continue the faster plate.

Transfer them both, and fruit them both. Then you will know which is better for you.
