Dissolve an aspirin on the tooth. It tastes nasty but it helps! Also there are lots of toothache remedies which contain benzocaine at the drugstore, but they're pretty expensive. Regardless of what you use, you should see a dentist ASAP. Hope that helps!

clovebuds contain eugenol, which can act as a temporary anesthetic...

hehe nobody noticed where he said "I don't take pills no matter what!"... as far as I know motrin, asprin, vicodin are all pills  but I'd suggest going to the dentist, Shriek.

Well the asprin trick sometimes works , but if the tooth is infected in any way , no amount of pain killers will work , you will have to take anti biotics , like Cephlexin or Amoxicillian , in fact if infected the dentist will have you take some anti's a couple of days prior to him doing any repairs . You say now, "you will take no meds "(pills) , welll get ready you may have to whether you want to or not .
Anbesol extra stength works okay , but it can speed decay , so do not use it like it is candy , you can get it at any pharmacy , it costs about 6$ .
Good Luck

Any mouthwash that has alcohol in it. It'll sting for a bit, swoosh it around your mouth till the stings goess away and then your mouth will nice and numb, and all the painful bacteria dead.

get a q-tip and some apple cider vineagar and gently bite down on the q-tip.. then use the other side and do it again. NEVER put the used q-tip back into the vinegar, and never re-use the q-tip... just keep using new one's.. This also work VERY WELL with random tooth aches.

My grandmother use to have me soak a teabag in hot water for a minute then squeeze out some of the water and place in your mouth against the tooth. Its like a miniture heating pad and she always said the tea helped dull the paini dont know if thats true but the teabag thing in general works good for me.

when i have a toothache i smoke a ciggerette or weed and just hold the biggest hit i can in my cheeks and keep breathing through my nose.after like 10 minutes your mouth is numb.

the vinagar trick is a little whack at first, but it seriously cuts down on infection .
