Multipurpose compost and straw

Would a mix of multipurpose compost and pasteurized straw be a viable substrate for sustaining Cubensis growth? I can't say what this compost consists of as it isn't going to be available for another week or two.

it all depends on what it consists of.
but you can go buy straight cow manure for like $4 for 40 pounds
try to get the stuff thats like 1-1-1 or lower

Guess I will wait until it becomes available and go from there, but the store workers says it is a for mushrooms. Really don't wanna get into straight manure at this point. If the multi-compost isn't gonna cut it, I will likely go with straw alone.
