I recently started going to Trader Joe's and was wondering what you liked from there? I like the garlic fries, the oj, and the frozen pizzas. I also like the slabs of ghirardelli chocolate.

I like the beer too. I also like the hard apple cider a lot. Mmm. And I find they have a good variety of raw organic nuts. And their organic OJ, I dig more than other organic OJs.

I like the BBQ chicken pizza, the pear gorgonzola pizza, some of the simmer sauces (the thai one is okay for when i'm lazy to make curry). The mushroom + goat cheese dip. Hmm... even their frozen fish is good (i normally hate frozen fish) but this stuff is ice glazed and IQF in cryovac, so it's well done.
They now carry kobe beef burgers.. they are fantastic. Frozen also. I love some of their sushi too.
Trader joes is good. I do a ton of my shopping there.

They have superior dried fruit. My favorite would have to be the dried mangos. Jesus christ, they have to be one of the best things I have ever tasted. However, they are super-addicting. The dried golden raisins are excellent too.
... oh yeah, the soy and flaxseed chips are damn good. As are the nuts, I've only tried the walnuts and almonds - damn tasty.

I'm clearly missing something... I'm in Scotland and Trader's Joe's is my college's local pub which serves a fine selection of ales and spirits... but it's not a chain. And their only tasty food is cheeseburger and chips.
This is an American bar chain, right?

Charles Shaw wines are $2.99 here in northern VA. I get my soft whole wheat bread from there. Also they have great cookies and snacks and always have samples .

I got some seasoned frozen mahi mahi for $5. I put on some blackened seasoning and pan fried the fillets for an awesome meal! I normally don't like fish but this was excellent!

I also tried the dried mango strips. They were really good and had the consistency of fruit roll ups. I can't get enough of those kobe beef burgers!
Another thing that is good are the trader joes dog treats. They are made in the same bakery as their cookies and such and are made from all natural ingredients. My dog prefers them to Iams dog treats every time. Iams also has twice as many ingredients, half of which I can't even pronounce.

Yes.. Sometimes you must push carts out of the lot or dust mop the isles, but if you want something nice like steak they make you give them something of yours like electronics or offis supplies.
Its realy a great system.
About Mississippi Mud. That stuff is the shit. Tastes like Michelobe Black and Tan.
