LC Mineral water seperation.

Hello all, new user here. I've been reading through the archives and gathering/building materials for about a month now and decided it's time to begin cultivating. I started 2 LCs in pint jars 6 days ago using the honeywater tek. One was done using distilled water (appearing healthy) and the other using mineral water. Upon sterilization, I discovered the mineral water separated. There was an obvious layer of minerals laying on the bottom. The mycelium appears to be growing, but during stirring, the separated minerals coat it so I cannot see it's consistency. What are your thoughts? Has anyone had this occur before?
