Should a private citizen be able to own...
    #2381076 - 02/26/04 08:25 PM (20 years, 1 month ago)

1.) A tactical nuke?
2.) A rocket launcher?
3.) A billion dollars?

How much power should the government let private citizens control? You can do more damage with a billion dollars than with a rocket launcher.

Only difference is you can buy your way out of trouble afterwards with the Billion dollars.

I think it's a God given universal right to own a tactical nuke. It isn't any less God given or universal than any other 'right', is it?

I wonder if their is actually some law prohibiting the ownership of a tactical nuclear device, or if the laws governing possession of nuclear material would be all that is in effect? If I had a nuclear weapon in my basementm, could I be charged? What with?

I would think the desire to own a rocket launcher and being psychologically sound are mutually exclusive!
