I have never myself had shroom tea, and I have seen a couple recipes on-line, now for a couple questions.
QUESTION 1- If psilocybin brakes down in heat wouldn?t adding hot water to it weaken the strength of the mushies?
QUESTION 2- got any good recipes?

1. Depends on temperature. 2. Wrong forum. 3. I don't know things.

I believe (im probably wrong) that heat breaks down psilocybin into psilocyn, which deteriorates quickly.. so heating shrooms, and then not consuming them will ruin them.. but since you're just breaking it down into psilocyn (which disolves into the water), and consuming shortly.. you get the same effect, since psilocybin doesnt actually affect you as it is broken into psilocyn through digestion before it hits your brain

Very nice writeup, cerv. If you added a short recipe summarized at the bottom of the post, it would be archive material, for sure!

The main trick is to put the shrooms into water that is not above 90 degrees.

Before I knew better, I used to boil 'em for a few minutes. Surprisingly, there wasn't much potency loss (if any) at all. It does less damage than you'd think. Don't know why.... and I don't recomend boiling shrooms but it sure seemed to work.
