First finds on the forum was from Scotland:

About a week sounds good aye, plenty of p. subbs out but only found those two i very nearly missed em' next sunny day i will check again because i was waterlogged from head to foot bag full of water too and one broken phone lol

Wow, thanks for linking my thread I wasn't sure if they were the first on the hunting forum! I've been a member here for a while now it's quite an honour to be mentioned in the first post of the official 2016 thread so many many thanks again

If you're waiting on a PM reply don't worry I have taken a number of prints and should have these ready this week for trades/post, if you're interested in a print PM me and I'll work through them in order I can offer prints of the early fruiting spot that seems to start in July through to mid Oct and prints from specimens in my regular spots that tend to fruit later during the regular fungi season in the UK.

Thanks mate   I'll be posting more of what I find this year, last year was bumper but I failed to get around to posting any info so this year I decided not to be so lazy, especially with the surprise of finding that many on the first hunt, in July of all months!

No worries! gotta give props to the first.
Just had to get out there and see if it had spread i was a little early, friday looks good for me but it's begun here too which is brilliant, so pretty much the entire side now, wales, scotland, north england should be popping between now and friday, friday looks best for me since it's heavily waterlogged.

Just checked my dry weight and got a little under 7g , can't wait for the first sampling of the summer lawn fruit

Either Panaeolina foenisecii [INACTIVE:] or Panaeolus cinctulus [ACTIVE:]
Spore print will tell, you want jet black i think it could be cinctulus since i find tons of them currently and hardly any foes.

Impressive catch so early in the season.
Lots of nice bluing there too! 
The one on top in the picture left of the lighter seems to have some sort of annulus.
Could you please take that one out of the heap and take a close up shot of
the stem? Also if you have any other with that feature. Looks like a liberty
cap but getting curious none the less.
