just wondered, what if if cook the rice in milk instead of water?
less water, but more nutrients.whatdouthink?

Seems like sour milk might complicate things. I'd use distilled water to be safe.

I read something somewhere a while back that milk stops certain molds from growing and can be used to spray on your garden plants. I think that non-fat milk would be best. Since people have sucessfully used milk dunks for their cakes, this sounds like something that is worth a try. Keep in mind that loading up on too much nutrients can set your project up for a greater chance of contamination getting a toe hold.

I dont drink cows milk, but i do drink rice milk...I was thinkin rice milk could be good for the substrate a while back....They sell organic rice milk at health food stores cheap, try it!
