yeah that sort of sucks, but i looked at a link there about amnesty.. eh.. neat. I don't trust that site a bit, it persuaded me to support Bush there even though it was trying to do the opposite

So the factual content of the article should be disregarded because another article on the site did not sit well with you politically?

wtf you talking about i didnt say that at all - it would have to have verifiable factual content for that! who the hell cares about some professor in ohio talking about this?
I was questioning the reliability of their sources ( none of which they provide ) Hell, I could write a better article about government control; at least it would be more interesting. In fact, I could even get two professors to say something relevant to my cause

"it would have to have verifiable factual content for that!"
and what's fabricated
who the hell cares about some professor in ohio talking about this
by that logic, who the hell cares about anybody making any analysis of world affairs.
I was questioning the reliability of their sources ( none of which they provide )
They're a news journal reporting a U.N. meeting, with a professor's observations. The source is not exactly required here like it would be if you wrote it.
Hell, I could write a better article about government control; at least it would be more interesting. In fact, I could even get two professors to say something relevant to my cause
ok, do it then.

my one point is that its a JOURNAL, and a very very opinionated one at that I don't trust it, ok? Yes, UN controlled internet is bad, but the journal provides almost no details, it's the equivalent of 1-2 paragraphs- some news report! It doesn't even mention government figures- it just says that at a worldwide meeting at Geneva, some people representing a few countries think UN-controlled internet is good. Look for slippery wording from sources

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/3465383.stm The action from the governemnt is getting hot. This is an article from the BBC. Theyll try to pesuade people that freedom is not a good thing. Jesus. I believe we are not that stupid.
One more thing about the article. They are trying to separate this attitude to the china attitude for doing the same thing. I ask you:" who is actually stupid in this game, huh?"
