Cheney might vapor lock before then.

I don't know about 2008, but if arnold pulls california out of this mess, there is a great chance he might run. Orin Hatch is working on a bill to overturn the requirement that you have to be born here to be president. I can't see what other reason he would be doing this other than the possiblity that arnold may want to run in the future.

No offence, but I really hope the Reps don't win. They aren't getting my vote, at least.

Too tired to look it up at the moment, but is that not a constitutional requirement? If so, Hatch can babble all he wants and get nowhere without a constitutional amendment on the issue, which is as likely to happen as me growing yams on my back.

I doubt they'd put up Cheney. He just looks so shady. That's why he needs Bush to be his mouthpiece, so the American people will let down their guard be more trusting.

Okay, so as I thought, it is a constitutional requirement that the president be born in America.

The likelihood of an amendment ever making it to the proposal stage, let alone being passed, is as close to nil as anything ever is in politics.

I don't think it's that ridiculous. I could see it happening. Wasn't arguing with you over it being an amendment.
