Hi my friend recently transferred her 100% colonized quart jars of millett to a store bought compost. this happened 1 day before she got her hands on some real horse shit. any ideas i can tell her on any way to undo this error (store bought compost) and put the real horse shit (she already pasteruized it) to use?
i.e would it be relatively safe to break up this store and straw compost and just add it into the poo??? thanks.

No one who has done "advanced cultivation" has any idea about this? I mean I have ideas that this may work but none of you have any input?This really doesn't fit with "below advanced cultivation" obviously because no one there has any ideas either.

lol, why are u even asking this question? obviously, you can either 1) pick out the spawn and remix it with the horse poo or 2) you could just mix the already spawen compost in with the horse poo. either one will work.

My friend's store bought compost is not colonized at all yet. All that she had colonized were the millett jars which were then mixed to the store bought compost before my friend had her real horse poo.....
Mycofile says that one of the problems with store bought composts are that they are more prone to contams (soil, etc) than natural manure.
More accurately what I was wondering is if it would through off my spawn to bulk subs. ratio too much to add in the real poo..... thanks

what was the ratio, if it was under 1:10 you could add the poo until you get to that ratio. I would just wait till the store bought compost is colonized then break it up and add to the horse shit.

10% - 20% spawn in the bulk substrate I think.

Your answer depends highly on compost and manure quality, along with mycelium quality and, as someone said, the ratio you already used.
1:10 (dry weight) is the standard
