The University President David Boren shut down the whole fraternity. Just because two members got drunk and sang a song, why does the rest of the fraternity have to get shut down, talk about a witch hunt.

It probably should but I don't understand this whole issue. Where were these students? I was under the impression that they were at some kind of privet event or something. Where they not? If they where, then why is all this shit going down?

They were on a bus with their fraternity going to an event, someone recorded it and the rest is history.
The campus was full of (black) protesters in next day, nothing short of a witch hunt.

If they were black chanting white racist slurs none of us would have even heard about this.

That's kind of what I gathered. It'd be one thing if they where marching around campus singing that stuff but this reaction seems way over the top. Hysteria is a good way to describe it.
