a mushroom farm? Isn't that like asking to work at a Marijuana Field?

unless of course you mean edible mushrooms...

in which case just pass right over this post

There are lot's of mushroom farms. I know of one in Kentucky. I think it was something like Bluegrass Mushroom Farm, something like that. Go to www.greaterlouisville.com ... go to the contact page ... find someone to email general questions to ... and ask them for the phone numbers of mushroom growers in the area. They're very helpful and I'm sure you'll find more than that place too.

Why do you think it's a nice and laid back job?

thanks prodijal....and yes i mean edibles. you think i'd be dumb enough to make a post looking for a job at a psilo farm. never heard of one besides personal growers. but thats illegal...and yes it would be laid back and easy. probably cause i like to grow mushrooms. it would beat working in food or a factory. rephrase FUN and EASY job, there...

Working a mushroom farm would be a good job ...better than getting your eyelashes burned working on boilers and furnaces

There's a mushroom farm in Miami (pronounced My-am-uh) Oklahoma I know about.

They would sell fertilizer there by the truckload and my dad used to get it for his garden.

Then they figured out a lot of people were using it to grow pot in so they stopped sellin it LOL

I'm pretty dure the fat soccer moms of america had something to do with them stopping the sell of fertilizer.

like it was a big deal and the newspaper acted like it was uncovering some type of news of the century.

meh oh well. They still have some really tasty mushrooms though

Mushroom farms quite literally smell like shit, but the worst kind of shit imagineable. I used to live across the street from a large edible mushroom farm and it was putrid. I never got used to the smell of mushroom manure. If that isn't a concern for you, cool, but it would turn me off.

My friends girlfriend worked as a harvester at a mushroom farm, and she hated it. All you're doing all day is picking mushrooms.. imagine getting 8 bucks an hour to do that.. every day, day in day out.. pick mushrooms pick mushrooms.. over and over and over and over and over again.. and again.. then the next day, too.. whats that? Tommorrow as well!!?
