Try making some h2o2:water solution and mist the casing a couple of times each day. The ratio is 1 portion of h2o2 to 10 portions of water.

On his last grow my friend had both cobweb and pin mold inside his grow box would this h2o2 solution be sufficient to clean the grow box or should new equipment be used?

chilly,
when your done, wash out the container completely with anti-bacterial soap, and to be safe wipe it out with alcohol before putting anything in it(unless its disposable, then yes, obviously get new equip.) the peroxide is for if you wish to fight back or let the damn contams win, its your choice to either try to kill the contam or throw out everything, or fuck around and eat contaminated shrooms that will make u sick, maybe kill ya, fun fun

Clean the grow box with water and bleach. H2O2 is not intended for cleaning purposes. It is used as a relatively weak sterilizer, used manly to fight cobweb and trich. It's not as strong as salt but it's a good solution if the contamination is at early stages.

Live mycelia produces peroxidases and/or catalases. Both of these enzymes decompose peroxide. Peroxide solutions are generally used to control bacterial infections (most bacteria can not break down peroxide), or to prevent mold spores from germinating (spores can not break down peroxide).
Once a mold has germinated, peroxide is uneffective against it. Other means must be used to irradicate the mold.
At least this is how I understand it.

When i say cleaning purposes, i'm referring to cleaning tools or surfaces. Bleach is ideal for such task. I understand it the same way you do. When i say it is a weak sterilizer, i'm comparing it to bleach or anything which deals more eficiently with bacteria. I'm also assuming one's using the common 1:10 ratio.

That is what my response was aimed at. I think it would only work against those two if it were used as a preventative measure to stop germination from even occuring, but once germinated peroxide is ineffective.
Regarding sterilisation of surfaces and peroxide:
Peroxide does work for sterilization purposes. Here is a reference article:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query...p;dopt=Abstract
...and another w/ a quote from the article, "Hydrogen Peroxide is a strong oxidizer used for high-level disinfection and sterilization."

It is possible for you to use peroxide for sterilization purposes but it's not very practical since you have bleach, which is stronger, cheaper and works even better as disinfectant. Do you see anyone cleaning surfaces with peroxide ? I don't, people mostly use bleach because of the reasons i gave you. Good links btw ! MAIA

h202 works well for mold,
you could try ozonated water
