Possible psychoactive cacti in a garden centre? ID Request. Thanks
    #21134711 - 01/17/15 05:04 PM (9 years, 3 months ago)

Today I have spotted this suspiciously looking little cacti in a garden centre. It was part of a "cacti mix" pot. I think this could possibly be a t.bridgesii...? Or t.pachanoi or t.peruvianus. It was very small, about 4 inch / 10cm.
Please note, it has no spikes. In my opinion, the spikes have been trimmed for some reason. Or have they not developed yet?

I have never grown psychedelic cacti yet so I'm no expert.

I just realized, maybe the The Ethnobotanical Garden would be more suitable for this thread. but I don't know how to move it there now.

The Ethno would be better.  The ribs look to deeply cut to be a trichocereus species though.  Maybe just a Cereus Peruvianus.  Either way, I like that planting, I may would buy it any way.
