Blue veins on agar?

I searched and couldn't find anything.
I have some ~1 month agar plates grown 100% that were sealed away in the fridge. Inspecting them they all look really dried out but contam free. 2 of the plates have blue veins running through the myc. Is this a contam or just a result of dried out agar?

I'm not crazy about posting pictures to here but if this is something unusual I may have to.

Do you think it could recover on WBS if I tiger dropped it? Or is it too far gone?

Oh yeah I think I know the "veins" you're talking about. Like what you see when the plates are old and start pinning?

Please elaborate.
I just did 6 transfers of my best 3 myc cultures.
M5-2, M7-2 and M8-2 ... M5-2 and M7-2 both had a bluish tinge only viewable from above the plate.
It didn't look at all like contamination, were they about to start pinning or were they suffering from lack of air?

sometimes, depending on where i put stored cube plates in the fridge, they turn blue if they were frozen for a short time. usually near the back on top shelf, closest to freezer. the cell walls burst from freeze/defrost, and bruise blue. i haven't ever put plates like that to grains, i'd transfer once more to ensure viability, then go to grains. but if u do try to go direct to grains, post results.

Too late, went to grains.
Of course I'll post results, I'm addicted to this stuff and this community too.
Well, it's very possible they got super cold -- but not that cold. I'm using a cloth tape and the agar is somewhere around 12 days old. Maybe the myc was going to pin, maybe not I don't know.
Either way, I transferred to new agar plates AND to grains so we'll have some more comparison.

Well, I just got the week off of work so I've been running the PC all the time. I was going to throw these old plates out since I have plenty of fresh growing ones, but with the extra grains laying around I think I'm going to try my first tiger drop. I'll keep a log and take pictures of anything interesting.

I got my agar culture delivered across 2000 miles by airplane , across various hot regions to my place which itself is really hot about 90F . That turned out be really dry with cracks and bluish discolouration of the agar underneath . This matches more or less the case with yours . I’m sharing pictures here of the before and after . 1 . While receiving and before packing 2. After arriving after 2 days by plane and road . 3 .Right After inoculation - 3rd day ( 2 jars ) . All the time I kept it inside fridge upside down inside a Saran wrapped insulated lunch box . I’m a first timer , I would appreciate any insight . Also I’m posting this mainly for people who asked pictures from the op. Thanks for this forum , I learnt a bit to get the confidence to start to cultivate . Image 1 :
