Big Brown Caps

  :mushroom2: Found these caps in the New England woods, as you know the ground is covered in leaves, and i believe i even picked these after it snowed.
   
    Cap Details
      - sry/smooth texture
      - folded edges
      - char-coal colored inner ring/w/ iced tea colore  outer perimeter
 
    Gill Details   
      - tightly packed
      - smooth/dry feeling
      - dirty white color/brown spots on the tips of each gill
      -attached

    Stem Details
      - dirty white
      - smooth texture
      - tick center/W/a hollow hole going up the middle   
 

  Spore Print
      -White

You didn't get the base of the stem, so that makes it a bit tougher than it might otherwise be.

The overall stature of that mushroom suggests a Tricholoma. Unfortunately, there are a bunch of Tricholomas that look basically like that.

A wild guess as to species might be Tricholoma sejunctum, which should not be eaten.

Some Tricholomas are edible (some are *really* good), some are poisonous (*really* poisonous), none are active.
