Storing cakes in incubator not a fridge?
    #1980210 - 10/04/03 11:22 PM (20 years, 6 months ago)

My friend has a bunch of cakes which are pretty much 100% but he won't be able to fruit them for 1-3 weeks because the terrarium is full. I know fridge storage is the way to go but he can't really do this.

Can they just sit un-monitored in the incubator for a few weeks? Maybe unplug the aqaurium heater to lower the temp?

Much thanks...

They will continue eating up nutrients if stored in incubator or room temp, which could effect fruitbody output. I've had some sit around a month with no problems. Though these were grain for spawn not cakes.
Someone else will probably have better answers.
