LOL.....thats funny. Coffee cup acted like a heat sink in the microwave. instead of boiling the water the coffee cup took all the heat. I grabbed it out of the microwave and it was instant pain.

I thought precious there might have gotten a bit frisky.

Beautiful snake, by the way.  What do you feed them when they're that small?

adult frozen mice. Yeah that would make perfect sense to think that. They can be a little nippy when they are youngsters. Everyone is scared of the 14ft monsters, but they know they can fuck you up so they usually aren't jumpy. Its the little guys that will get ya.

I don't have any pictures, but I used to own three blue tongue lizards.

I had them all since they were only two or three months old, and about a year ago, after having them for 8 or so years, I gave them to a wildlife rehabilitation park so they could learn to hunt their own food and eventually be released back into the wild.

They were good pets, reasonably tame and didn't require too much work. I gave them to the wildlife park as they were getting too big for their outdoor enclosure.

I've got a corn snake (almost 15 years old!) and 2 royals- one pastel, one spider.

Jealous of your green tree python, not jealous of the wounds. Gorgeous snakes but I couldn't get past the temperament. I'd have to psych myself up for days and then take a large dose of mxe before grabbing that thing. Would love to see pics though.

will do. green tree pythons are awesome.Yes he will be a big snake. 10-14ft. They are skinny though. I was going to get a burm, but they weigh to much. I got a male retic because they max out around 12ft ish(depending on parents and feeding schedule). Females get much larger 14ft+. It sounds like a lot but it really isnt. You wrap the snake around your leg and waist, then your only playin with 6ft. It will be my first large snake. Ive had boas, carpets, various pythons, but this is my first "large constrictor".
