This peyote was grafted as a few days old seedling in June (that's only three months ago). It has already sprouted seven new pups!

Some Pereskiopsis species are noted to contain mescaline and some other PEAs.

Once you obtain one Pereskiopsis plant you'll soon have plenty. The stuff really grows like weed and is very easy to multiply bu cuttings.

i just wanna know about the potency. if maybe u put the whole plant on super drought mode for awhile. maybe make it more alkaloid rich. but i have never grown a cactus before so i dotn know the limits of them.

ok, so Pereskiopsis is relitively easy to aquire, im soon to receive some peyote seeds, if i grow them for about a month, then graft them, i should expect them to grow 3 years worth in a month or two? and by 3 months there will be very decent sized pups with pups of there own? oh man, im gonna like this.
now that i think of it, Pereskiopsis might aslo provide a synergistic rootstock for trichocerus, id be happy with the peyotes tho, id just grow and graft pertetually. i think it would be possible to market fast-growing peyote in canada.
maybe sell a peyote tree for $100 on the net, and it would only take maybe 5 months to grow to a selling point once evrything is going good and pupping, thats a good price AND a great profit. i can immagine having 100 sales a week peyote is legal to grow and sell in canada as long as you dont dry out the buttons. or sell them in an ungrowable state for cunsumption.
while im making some cash and frequent trips to the post office, i would have one plant called "mama" that i would let grow and grow, even grafting peyotes on the stalk and leaf buds till shes all peyote with a few leaves, hmmmmmm,
seem overly ambitious?

Pereskiopsis is a true cactus (one of the few species with real leaves). Jade( Crassula) is not a cactus and i'm pretty sure that you can not graft cacti to it.
About the peyote tree. This is very possible, but sending them in the mail would be very difficult as the leaves snap off very, very easily. Also if you ever forget to water your plant it will lose all it's leaves which will not gegrow.
Here's two more pics:

so do you have to water those periskiopsis frequently?

I water them every 3 days or so. They should be watered like a 'normal' plant not like a typical cactus. Also watch out for overfeeding, Pereskiopsis can handle a lot more fertilizer then the Peyote on top. Overfeeding shows in necrotic spots on the skin of the peyote.
Don't get your hopes up on aquiring one in a garden center since they don't carry them...
