I make a bit of supplemental income. Or well, I should say I did. I have taken a hiatus for a bit, due to some issues in the lab.

Personally, no..... but a friend of my family actually makes a living off it(or did before some unrelated legal troubles).......seemed to me the key to making money on it was finding local 'high class' restaurants to sell fresh mushrooms too.....they seemed to pay the highest price for the least amount of product :laugh:

I really want to start cultivating edibles just because i am tired of eating meat...I love Portabellos but i refuse to pay the prices that the local market charges.
I really dont know much about growing edibles so i am going to spend some time here and try to learn something  :smirk:

you would be surprised how many books there are on growing in public libraries. (in New Zealand anyway)

I'm afraid to check out this book because of the Patriot Act, even though I just want to cultivate Oyster mushrooms.

This alone should be justification to end the Patriot Act. :frown: :frown: :frown:
