No Growth, what should he do

About a month and a half ago this guy received some spores from Sporeworks. He was about to go on vacation, so he put them in the fridge. 4 weeks later he prepared his jars. 7 pf's, and 10 birdseed(w/ a little whole brown rice mixed in) The PF's were pressure cooked for 1 hour, and the seed for two hours. 1/2 of each set of jars was prepared w/ tyvek for gas exchange. Two days later, the jars were injected. He used 3 different strains. (not in each jar, but a couple jars of each). Now it has been 12 days, and there is not a single sign of growth in ANY of the jars. The temp has been between about 73-85. What should he do? Could Sporeworks, or maybe shipping be to blame? It was still pretty hot around here a month and a half ago, when the package arrived. Could the month in the fridge be the problem? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Wait longer you say.. All these posts about people w/ fully colonized jars after a week, and growth after a day have got him in a rush, I guess. Syringes were shook.
Thanks for the quick replies!

my buddy finds birdseed to be a royal pain, messy, and hasnt worked for him, yet many people have great success with it..try rye berries its so much easier and you can find them in health food stores if you cant find a place to buy em just do a google search and buy em online

why did you wait 2 days before injecting the jars ? you should do it when the jars are cool but 2 days is pushing it...my buddy finds that the longer he waits the greater the chance for contam

wow sorry to hear that..my buddys experience with rye berries produces fruits within a month from syringe and 3 weeks with a grain to grain transfer...so for the 3 months you waited for that WBS you could have had 3 goes at it with rye
