I looked on the site, but couldn't find an answer to this question: How much rain will trigger a growth of P. Cyanescens, and how long after the rain will they appear? A light, sprinkling rain fell today, which probably isn't enough for Cyans. =( I'm learning patience, at least!

Also, just to cross-check the information I've accumulated on these shrooms...

-Grow in N. California from Sept.-Nov. in wood chips/mulch, especially under coniferous fir trees and in mulched flower beds. Make sure that they're not Galerina Marginalis or a poisonous Concocybe.

That's all true, right? Anything else I should know?

NorCal wont be seeing any Ps cyanescens for at least another 2-3 months.

It has to get cold, and there has to be more rain. That was the first rain we've seen in like...months? Just wait 'till december and its like a kid walking into a candy store.

and caller: that's G. marginata and G. autumnalis...
and you can probably disregaurd the doug-fir habitat, that's where they grow naturaly and are verry rare there.
