I smoked some weed today, I don't very often (maybe once a month), but today I did. The high wasn't very intense- just where it needed to be so that it was very enjoyable. I never felt that kind of high before, but weed always seems a bit different every time I puff.
I've recently devleoping this strange world in my head for a while now, mainly in the last month. Well anyways, today it was like I was in this world when I thought about it- so clear, and with a very 3D feel to it.......almost 4D. I wish I could explain it all to you, but I don't have the time, and I don't want anyone knowing my world.... yet (I plan to make something of it in the future).
Someday I might be lucky enough to make it into an epic movie like Star Wars or the Matrix. I wish. I would love making this world into a movie.

Next time take 100mg of 5-HTP an hour before you smoke.
Also by rubbing vicks on your chest will get you a little more high (because of menthol).
Then travel this "digital world"  .

Dude I know what you mean. Sometimes I'll just create environments and set up interesting situations and just kind of write a story in my head, you know? Fantasize. Daydream. I think its a great exercise for the imagination. Peace.

AFOAF (no really, a friend of a friend) had some sort of traumatic youth, I'm not sure exactly what happened, but he was very antisocial and built up a dream world in his head, with full characters and elections, an entire society with a special system of government (half monarchy, half communist, something like that). He's got to dedicate a big chunk of his subconcious to make it work, because the plotline is completely autonomous. He doesn't control what happens, and he doesn't ever know what is going to happen either.

5-HTP definitely takes smoking to the 'next level'. Especially if you listen to some epic music along with it in the dark by yourself in your underwear with maybe some incense.

i think this is caused by trauma. Ive actually started to wonder about this... I escaped through my dreams... I still kind of do it. But i never forced them. the world i create is in some way sub concious... but its a part of who i am. I have spent time and energy learning and devoting my time to gain knowledge. Which i think is sort of different from your friends scenario. I have to agree with Murex partly, it does sound a little bit on the verge of schizophrenic. But to me i think it might be his only way of coping with a traumatic past, he could be suffering from post traumatic stress syndrom... and or a compilation of other "problems". If he knew of a good way to try and change/incorporate this he might be able to change the way of his life (if its bad). It sounds like he has a problem excepting change (i.e. the inability to control these characters and simulated reality). If he can conciously try to network these subconcious thoughts... accept the past... incorporate new ideas. He might be able to break himself free. That is assuming this is a real person, and a real situation. If you know this friend... who is good friends with his Friend. I might say somethign to him about it.

I dont smoke pot too much either anymore. LIfe is stressfull enough without the interaction of THC in my head. Although sometimes i agree.. it makes you go "wow", and is something good to look back on. and sometimes gives you a deeper look into a creative side. at least for me anyway.
