Show Your Support for Daniel Holmes - Sentenced to 10 Years for 1 Pot Plant

Daniel Holmes is a normal UK guy living in Malta with his family.
He has no prior criminal history, but he's just been sentenced to spend 10 years plus pay the equivalent of 23,000 Euros in fines.

Daniel's crime was possessing a marijuana plant in his home. (The article reads "a marijuana plant" - I'm assuming one, but I don't know for sure.)

In a country that often sentences rapists & child molesters to probation or much shorter prison terms (2 to 4 years), a 10-year sentence is outrageous.

I just have to get this off my chest: pot is harmless victimless, and absolutley missunderstood. I dont understand why, in the grace of all that is holy, moderators allow opium poppies to be traded and not pot seeds.

Opium poppies produce opium, druggies buy the opium and make it into heroine and lace it with god knows what.

Pot is made into hash, hash oil, joints, brownies and other baked goods, as well as tea. stoners buy pot and pot dirivitives that are clean 90% of the time.

Please re-evaluate the rules moderators, pot is way less harmfull and much more widley accepted.

OK im done raving now lol
