Golden Teacher = Inconsistant potency.........

Well I'm not speaking from a known fact, Im just speaking from personal experience.
The last 2-3 months or so, my pet has been dabbling with the idea that maybe, just once, his Golden Teacher flushes would be more consistant and more prolific. Although some flushes here and there would be of considerable size, many of the shrooms produced off the cakes would be very small not even capable of registering 0.1 on a gram scale dry. Not to mention how the GTs have been on the most part, very unpotent even when they had appeared to be very healthy.
The blue staining is caused by the oxidation of the psilocybin contained within the shroom, right? Many of the GTs fail to turn blue when cut, picked, or bruised.
Maybe all the spores in the syringe were of a weak generation.
Either way, its doubtful that my pet will resume the cultivation of the GTs in the near future. Time to move on to more reputable strains.

Something is very wrong ...My GT`s are kick ass all the time...I just cultivate the Mexican strains due to ease and potency is allways great not to mention more intense colouration/patterns. Mexi-cubes might be a smidgen better but are a bit smaller..I have gotten great messkin strains from TLG,Ralphsters and Micron Magic...Where did ya get your prints/syringes from?

With BRF cakes, this is true for me. Less bruising the more flushes in. By the 3rd, there was barely any blue going on after picking. And really, not worth choking down the nasty bastards at that point. Kinda disappointed but shit happens.
Just saying, you're not alone.
Look at my current sig! The bigger ones are from the 1st flush. The choady bastard was epic. But as for the ones on the plate, which I picked just before the veil torn, were reported to be not so potent. I expected this because they really didn't bruise all that much.

this logic is beyond me.
if the active ingredient turns blue (and im assuming becomes non active) when in oxygen.
doesnt that mean, the more it blues, the more you've lost?
also. this thread is fucking old

I know lol. I seen this before I began my mission for fruit. It is still open so I thought I'd contribute. And you might be right. I wouldn't know but I doubt your facts are accurate. Not saying mine is! But it is just what was observed. The ones that bruised works, and the others didn't so much.
If they take oxygen in, why would it kill the chemical?

I have no idea what the hell you guys are complaining about?!?!?!... If you've got a pet or donkey that is smart enough to grow, consume and give constructive feedback on potency; then all your life's worries should be pretty well taken care of...

oxidized psilocin is no longer active.
most people are convinced that oxidized psilocin stains blue.
i am not convinced of that.
there are many species that contain no psilocin, but still stain/bruise blue

Then why would a species that is known for containing *psilocybin? not bruise if it is known to contain the chemical? We aren't talking about other species. I'm sure we are on "Golden Teacher" which in fact is a cubensis and to my knowledge does bruise blue. Or at least the ones that bruised had a noticeable difference in potency. Which is why I mentioned it on this thread.
I love semi-irrelevant answers that really don't answer your question.
