cube infested patties!

Been dry in south Texas but happend to find a few patties in some tall wet grass just loaded with cubes and this one other one I'm not quite sure what it is.

Last one is a Chlorophyllum species, likely C. molybdites.

The cap was real scaly on it pretty dried to growing out the middle of a cow pie

I believe it's more likely that it was growing through the cow pie. Really not much else it could be.

How often do they grow to that size? I know everything is bigger in Texas but that did seem like a C. molybdites at first. Good call.:confused:

It's kind of hard to see what size it is exactly.  Looks like a pretty big one.

It was probably about 6-7 inches tall dark gills
