I LOLed. Seriously though, I have actually seen a cat tripping balls before, a friend of mine was drying mushrooms and her cat jumped up on the table and ate a few. It was funny and sad at the same time. Well, more like funny at first when it tried to climb the curtains and then sad when it freaked out. Luckily it didn't suffer any permanent damage. Everyone else who was there dosed too and spent the night keeping the poor thing sane. It actually started to enjoy itself towards the end when it calmed down and started playing with string. We were all so happy it was ok. Lesson learned: Animals have a taste for psychedelics too, you should not leave any where one can consume them.

Wow, far off topic! Anyway the point I was going to make was this: towards the end of the trip when the cat calmed down, its behaviour was somewhat similar to a cat who has consumed catnip. Perhaps it is a hallucinogen to them...
