Limacella guttata (Amanitaceae) is a rare edible species from Europe.

Apparently it is unknown in North America.

If someone found or will find this species in North America, please post it!

Do you have any microscopic images for this? Especially of the pileipellis? Is this species normally viscid or glutinous when wet?

The cap is very glutinous during rainfalls, whereas at dry weather  it is not viscid at all.

I don't have microscopic images of Limacella guttata.

I have sent dried specimens of Limacella guttata to Dr. Rodham Tulloss.
