Just had surgery and need some help

The surgery I had was just enough to keep me from the horse pastures for my Poo.  I have three quart rye jars ready to spawn, and am not quite ready for G2G just yet.  I have just started to use casings, and wanted to know what a good casing I can use the works well with cubes and can be used from the local stores while limited mobility, and have no one to assist me.  Thanks for any help DiRt OuT........................

Why not spawn to coir? It's pretty cheap and easy to deal with.
You can grab three bricks at any local pet store.

theres a chunky kind called coco husk. avoid that one. you can also find coir at a hydroponics shop if u have one. or even at a lawn and garden center

thanks alot man I've heard of the choir just never used it should put any verm with it and should I bring it to feild cap and PC for say 60 min

You can't get poo so you need a substitute casing material?

*No*

You don't case with poo. It's too nutritious. Poo is used as a substrate by itself, or as an nutritional additive to a substrate (eg a pf cake with added poo, or straw and poo).

A casing layer provides a humid micro-climate for hyphael knot, and consequently primordia, formation; it also acts as a water reservoir fot developing mushrooms. I does more than that, too, but it's a good start for an explanation.Casing can be made with peat moss and lime. There are additional additives like crushed oyster shell,(small) calcium carbonate pellets,or a little coir (not too much). 

You can use coir as a substrate, but you may want to add a little worm castings to it for micro-nutrients. You shouldn't need to cast this provided you maintain adequate humidity within your growing chamber.

Lastly.If you PC for 60 min you will likely sterilize any small amount of material. You don't want to sterilize either a substrate or casing; you want to pasteurize it.

you dont need to case cubes at all actually
if you can find gypsum add 10% to your coir. you can use coffee too (also at 10%) but only if you are confidant in your pasturization methods

Thanks for the reply and for the lesson.  I must have miss thaught got some pretty hard core pain meds just before the right up.  I was refering to substrates for my mini tubs, called them casings by accident.  Thanks man I will use your info wisely DiRt OUt..........................
