Godspeed you black emperor - Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Attennas to Heaven. Fantastic CD! I just downloaded it - its on my to buy list for sure. I couldnt find the car is on fire, and there's no driver at the wheel, but I'll search again later.

"The car is on fire, and there's no driver at the wheel" isn't a song, it's a sample that is in the song Dead Flag Blues. The rest of the album (F#A#) is really good.

Yea, as sheepish said, the actual song name is dead flag blues, but pretty much the whole album is amazing. Its a little bit deceptive to say the songs are 15 minutes long, since they're divided up into 3 or 4 sections. I only heard them for the first time 5 days ago (the same time I had my first serious shroom trip) and the spoken poetry in dead flag blues just seemed perfect.
Elvish - In all honesty, there is no other band they sound like.

the new Mogwai, "Happy Songs for Happy People"
includes a Cubase SX file of one of the songs...
it's pretty neat to play producer for Mogwai.
it's a whole new format, the Audience is going to become the Artist, and vice~versa.
only kewl bands like Mogwai will be able to pull this off.

The first time I listened to that on acid, I had to turn it off! It just got way too intense for me (and that's the first time I've had to turn music off on an acid trip). After calming myself I continued with the album and had a great time (and played F#A# after that too...it was a long night).
