Tyvek & Humidity
    #1635091 - 06/15/03 01:01 PM (20 years, 9 months ago)

Does anyone here using tyvek under the lid rings use perlite in their incubator? Or do your jars stay moist and properly humid? I'm worried-this is my first time using tyvek lids and dont wanna dry out my jars over night on accident. I searched and didn't find any answers so I'm posting. Sorry if I missed a previous post. Thanks a lot.

That confuses me. How are you inoculating? Inoculating through each hole? Wouldn't that just be breaking the tyvek and kind of making the areas where the drilled holes were useless for ventilation since theyd just be open again-elaborate if you can. I might be having a brain-fart, I don't know though.
