1/2 pint VS. pint jars...?

i was just wondering if anyone likes or dislikes using full pint jars VS. the 1/2 pint jars, seems like it would take longer for the pint fars to colonize, but i dont care.... what does everyone think....? peace!

My friend uses half pint jars for the PF tek. For whole grain substrates he prefers pints or quarts.

I prefer smaller jars, because they colonize faster. This reduces contamination risks. Besides, I'm not a very patient person, I gues... :smile:

yes 1/2 pint jars for pf tek brf jars less substrate to contam on you the 1 pint jar will take far to long risking for infection
