phlegm

I've been constantly coughing up globs of phlegm for most of my life. Pretty sure it started before I began smoking cigs. Any advice on fixing this, without establishment pharmaceuticals?

eating less dairy, more fruits and vegetables, quitting smoking (everything), and cutting back heavily on the drinking.

helped me a lot anyways. when i smoke cigarettes not only do i constantly feel poisoned, but i feel like theres a glob of mucous in the back of my throat that i can never get out. then after 6 months or so itll finally come out as a big bloody wad.

doesnt happen when i dont smoke. that shit is fucking horrible for you

Prior to you smoking cigarettes you had phlegm? Hmm, sounds strange unless you inhale toxic air. I was in a similar predicament and after lots of research found that is may take months to years for your lungs to clear out. The reason for it taking so long is that your lungs need to reduce the inflammation that has been caused by the heated carcinogens that you inhaled. Don't eat dairy, quit smoking now, drink lots of water, do cardio(it will be painful), and do some breathing exercises.
