is so fucking futile.
you know what is really futile? debating free will.
but you know what is actually very worthwhile?
debating whether or not a humans ability to debate free will proves whether or not they have free will, or not.
its all about layering language upon language so we can get as far away from the truth as possible, in order to truly understand language, because::::
language equals reality.

Anything that we interact or observe equals reality. And how is that debating free will is futile but debating our ability to debate free will is not? It still goes to the root debate. Do we or do we not have free will?
As for the rest of what you wrote, I think you need to clarify that further.

that's not language. that's art! (wtf does that say anyway?) so art equals reality? what is language? it's not reality. we could debate that all day but you know where that goes...

damn thats fuckin awesome graffiti...
I agree with atomic, debating free will seems fuckin ridiculous, except for 'fun'...
I mean you arrive at this really excellent conclusion and then you just turn the leaf over and suddenly the opposing view one-ups you.. it's like a neverending paradigm shift.

Art is language. Have you never hear that a picture is worth a thousand words?

I'd have to agree, but for the sake of argument, if a picture doesn't clearly protray what the artist was trying to say, then it's point is, well, unlcear - this I feel should nullify it's compatibility with language. In a way, it's kinda of like speaking in tongues - YOU know what you were trying to say, but everyone around you is befuddled, which in a way, I guess brings you closer to god.
In summary, art isn't a language but can be used as a method of being in tune with god.

art is the highest form of human communication, especially film, especially films that communicates subconsciously (like 70's westerns that have a liberal message that slips through the viewer's radar)
