I've chose the middle path. You? I dont want to make spoils and talk about it too much. But I think they made some epic choices.. either way game is all about the sacrifices. So in the end, you have to make the ultimate one.. nice, very nice.. i like how they ended it.

I chose the destroy option, in my personal opinion I thought the ending was actually Shepard fighting off indoctrination as two of the three choices seem to be about the reapers gaining the upper hand.

I'll try that one in next play trough. Is this your personal opinion, cuz that is the same one I've saw on some video that supposedly explains the ending choices. That may be true to some extent. But while speaking with catalyst-child many more things are revealed about the reapers. IMO, they set the game like that in a way, that you either take left or right path, destroy or control, you would not solve the philosophical dilemma. And everything that reapers vs humanity was about was just prolonged to some distant future to repeat it self again. End is both epic, and restricted. I like how it ends, but on the other hand, end choices will not satisfy many people. And that is why I say.. that game 'teaches' gamers a lot about sacrifices and consequences. I remember the first part where I have to choose between Kaidan and Ashley, at first I thought, what a cruel game, and that perhaps there's gotta be way to save them both. But later on I realized what that all about.

Well in all honesty I hated the ending. In fact I saw a video on youtube that shows the 16 endings Bioware promised. The endings are all 90 percent the same with different colors. In fact the biggest problem with it all is that there was no closure with your teammates that you have gotten to know throughout the series and the fact that the ending is the same even if your war assets are high enough. Ok nerd rage done.

Yea, that war assets thing is just stupid. All that trouble for nothing I guess. And the thing I hated is the fact that they left out many things with teammates. I 'romanced' Subjet Zero in ME2.. only to find out that she does not even have a codex entry in ME3.. and she appeared like for 10 minutes in the game.. and that is it. At least they could have done more regarding that..

I agree my guess is that EA rushed them to meet there deadline so bioware cut corners regarding development. Really Bioware should cut ties with EA i really feel like that would help with the quality issues.

I do not think that it was a matter of rushing the game, it was a matter of the original creator and writer not being on board for this installation. I was personally let down by the ending and a lot of aspects about the story, but over all the game play was pretty killer. And hell, there might even be redemption for this matter, as there is now a group that has raised 30k dollars worth of donations for a charity, with a goal to convince EA to re write the ending. I heart gamers.

Lol.. to rewrite the ending.. this is most epic thing i've heard recently. They have my moral support. But I dont think that they will allow that to happen tough.

Haha, agreed.
It is a nice thought though--I would be on board for a bit more closure to the series; maybe a deeper explanation about the reapers, galaxy, citadel and so forth. Will it happen though? Probably not outside of fan fiction.
So on a side note? Who else played as the Female Shepard? She was foxy...

We will see, what will DLC's bring to us. Just remember in ME2, there was a whole bunch of them.

DLCs always have promising content. I hope they expand on the story through it--I would love to hear a bit more about the reapers and the sentient light being on the citadel

Agreed. Though, I am putting in some extra hours balsting through 1 and 2 -- I lost all of my saves when my HD crashed, so I could not import any of my awesome characters. I am looking forward to that.
I had been anticipating something way beyond what was delivered. They set it up so perfectly to have some far out, existential, sci-fi orgy. I was expecting a similar scenario to ME1 where you run into the damaged AI construct and get to bombard it with questions. That was one of the most brilliant turn of events in that game....
I sound like a horrible nerd when I start bitching about this, so I need to stop...There could be women watching
