stubborn cake
    #1594416 - 05/30/03 06:34 PM (20 years, 9 months ago)

Bruce wayne is a friend of mine and hes haveing trouble with a cake. It has already gone through its first flush and it wont pin or get fuzzy growth or anything. It has one pin that doesnt grow. The strain is cambodian. Its been more than two weeks since he picked the first flush. 5 grams off the first flush.

He doesnt have the materials or space to case. Its starting to make him upset. And when bruce is mad its not cool. He already cold shocked and dunked. What should he do?

If you need more information i can provide it for you. Ill have to call bruce up and ask him.

An extreme measure that worked on my last two stubborn cakes is to redunk them, but instead of leaving them in the fridge, leave them under a light for 24 hours. Rebirth afterwards.

So just redunk them unnder a light shoould get it to go? *bruce* dunked it after the first flush in the fridge. Could that be the reason its not doing anything?

Dunking in the fridge wasn't the problem, it works well for all of my cakes so far. The added benefit of dunking under the light is the magnification and refraction of the light in the water. The photosensitive mycellium go wild and start throwing shrooms up the day you rebirth the cake.
