5/30 hunt results 112 CUBIES!!!

Southerncap here, with more tales from the hunt :wink:
Today, was a good day!! I found 112 P.cubans in under a hour!!!

I went at 8am, before the sun could kill all the ripe, juicy goodness..
everyday this season has been killer, finding at least 50 a day, and some days I find as many as 300 !!!!

serious though.....congrads! can you take some pics while out in the field? i love seeing mushrooms out in their natural habitat. although, i know sometimes that is not always possible.

heheh, Im just lucky,thats all :wink:

I have some in my other hunt threads of cubies before being picked.
Ill take some more pics of them tommorrow when I go hunting.

damn i wish it would rain here... we got some rain at my place but you drive a mile down the road and there was just drizzle everytime it rains its been like that. we need a good soaking rain...

Not enough rain in south louisiana/baton rouge area yet either. I was picking 'em by the dozens this time last year every time it rained. Now, I haven't seen a single solitary cube yet and after having only one or two good rains since the last freeze I'm not suprised. Guess I'm gonna have to ride up to Mississippi to get anything worthwhile.
