Growing with Sunlight - Where to put my box?

Hey, I've got enough privacy in my house (even though I live with the parents) that I can grow my mushrooms out in the open (in my room of course) and I want to use natural sun light to grow them, where exactly should I put my terrarium? Like ON the window sill? Under it on a chair? Any suggestions please :smile:

A friend used to have cakes in a clear terrarium with an opaque lid sitting right underneath a window (by the wall) and they did great.

Not in direct hot glaring sunlight, as that can add heat & cause shock......plus split caps. 6T
