First trip vs. First ego death

I've never experienced ego death but I assume something like that would leave an impact. My first trip was life changing, you know that sense of "waking up" for the first time. For those of you who have had an ego death, would you say it has had as great of an impact on you as your first trip? Or is it incomparable?

i'd say the first trip had more of an impact than first ego death simply because there would not have been one without the other ;]
