just thought i'd post a thread on aspiration prayers to see if anyone is interested... i really enjoy reciting these kinds of prayers usually at the beginning or end of a meditation session.
my favourite of these prayers is the following one attributed to Yeshe Tsogyal, who was the consort of Padmasambhava. It's said she uttered this prayer to him right before he departed. It makes for a really amazing guru yoga type prayer

The Prayer of Yeshe Tsogyal
Great Guru, bless me
That in all my future lives,
In palaces of pure realms
I may commit myself to you and never be parted from you!
With never-fluctuating devotion
May I joyfully carry out your wishes
And receive the transmission of your nectar-like blessings,
The essence of your mind, profound realization!
May the blessings of your body, speech and mind,
Mature my body, speech and mind;
May I received empowerment for the profound stages of creation and perfection,
And put them into practice!
May I still the demons of false view,
Sickness, negative forces and obstacles,
And increase my following and resources,
So that all my wishes are fulfilled!
In cemeteries, mountain retreats and snow ranges,
And other places with all the right qualities
May I constantly practice
The profound meditation of the quintessential view!
As a result of my practice,
May I accomplish the four activities
And, compelling gods and rakshas to subservience,
May I protect the Buddha's doctrine!
May all the sublime teachings expounded by the Buddha
Arise effortlessly in my mind;
Having achieved the highest knowledge,
May I attain ultimate realization!
Through the power of bodhicitta
May I gather all beings under my influence,
And by the unobstructible might of this wishing gem
May all these connections be made meaningful!
Through the spread of the Buddha's teaching
May those who hold the lineage and teach the dharma proliferate,
May all beings be brought to bliss,
And may all realms become pure buddha fields!
May there arise infinite emanations
From my body, speech and mind
To benefit each and every being
In accord with his needs and capacity!
In short--the whole of samsara and nirvana, without exception,
Being inseperable from the nature of the guru,
May I swiftly attain omniscient buddhahood
In which the three kayas neither merge nor separate!
May sentient beings offer their prayers!
May the gurus bestow their blessings!
May the yidams grant accomplishments!
May the dakinis give predictions!
May the dharma protectors dispel obstacles!
May the Buddha's doctrine spread and proliferate,
May all beings have well-being and happiness
And practice the dharma day and night,
May our own and others' aims be spontaneously accomplished!
By this entirely pure merit,
May I stir up the depths of samsara, especially the lower realms,
And may we remain no more in the ocean of existence
But together realize the three kayas!
May the great secret treasure of all the conquerors,
This supreme and consummate teaching,
Rise like the sun into the sky
And spread throughout the world!
Having cultivated this and other positive actions,
May I possess all the perfect qualities of the wisdom mind of the glorious guru!
May I become a powerful being propagating the Buddha's precious teaching!
Having attained the highest knowledge, love and power,
May I become a perfect Buddha!
May all sentient beings in the six realms be liberated from samsara,
the great ocean of suffering, and swiftly attain consummate buddhahood!
