Hey guys. so over this last summer i watched the movie get him to the greek featuring a fictisous band that has a song called furry walls.
there is a version of the song for ya. Well i just wanted to know your opinion of it. my dad of all people told me when i descibed a trip visual as "people get fuzzy", he said " oh so things got furry" and ive always thought this was a song sorta about trippin. a lot of the lyrics seem to coiencide with tripping in my opinion. yes yes, i know we're thinking too deep into a song. but its a coool lil song. its sorta uplifting in my opinion. saved me on some trips, but thats not the topic here. what do you think they were trying to get at when they wrote this song? no matter it being made for the movie or not, it was written and made.

well he uses the phase so often i'm guessing it's about furry walls... i've never seen the movie but most times when a musician is commissioned to write a song/songs for a movie they're given a breakdown of the scene/scenes... was the song relevant to the scene? it does happen every so often...
anyway, the song was very simple lyrically and the opening pretty much set the stage for me when he said "when the world slips you a jeffery". a girl i knew during advanced school used to always ask "wanna smoke a jeffy with me?". the joints were laced with whatever she had on hand. her jeffies would always pretty much do me in for the afternoon or evening, so i generally passed. when the world does me in... jeffy... jeffery... when this happens the lyricist is telling me to find peaCe in other things... he uses the term furry walls so much, it almost seems like he's telling me it's alright to live in a comfortable box if that's the only way i can cope.
so to me the song telling me to try and look at the bright side of life or find comfort in things i love when the world seems out of control.
