just an anecdote :

One winter two of my friends and I took about 4g each of ecuadorian, and as we descended from our peaks, we walked out into a park behind the house we were tripping at. It was late night, and the park is pitch black, except for street lights around the perimeter. There had been a constant misty drizzle all day, and now the water had frozen on everything, sort of like in the Ice Storm, for those who've seen that movie. Everything was encased perfectly in sheaths of ice, and the grass appeared to be constantly crystallizing and reordering itself, freezing and moving. The hallucination was moving in complex and unexpected ways, and we stood there in the cold like idiots, laughing, for much much longer than intended.



...so if you can ever time your trip around an unusual weather event, i'd consider it worthwhile. Perhaps during a hurricane?

A hurricane would be awesome. They are loud and windy as hell and you can hear it all outside of your house when it happens. However, and earthquake would probably freak me out.

I think one place/weather id do is when the sun beings to set and u are at a beach town and its humid weather and its very peaceful (not many people at all are around)and listenin to some great mellow music. and you are just sitting down on a car looking down at the town and the beach....that would be great!!!!

Thunder storms are amazing. However, I've been lucky enough to witness a lightning display minus the rain and thunder. Was awesome! I sat on top of a huge mound overlooking the beach and water, while shooting stars went nuts and the occasional flash of lightning from over the hill.
