Trust me, you'll save yourself a LOT of trouble if you just go with perlite. I have always had great success with it. Peace out.

Well, I say the best way is perlite.
Usually I do only 1 or 2 cakes at a time, so I use tupperware containers, and have one cake per container....
traps humidity perfect........

In your situation you are better off using perlite. It is especially well suited for small terrariums that are easy to clean. If you use perlite, there is no need to spray. Just be sure to air out the chamber several times a day. Then you can go play, in the hay and yell, hooray, its May! Please, don't think I'm gay.
